Please remember to pull up to the Kiss and Ride sign when dropping off your children in the morning. The official drop off is NOT at Door
Two of the school building. Also, when picking up children after dismissal, please refrain from parking and leaving your car on Sleepy Hollow Road directly in front of the school, as it blocks Kiss and Ride traffic. Thank you for your cooperation!
March 2nd the SHES PTA will host a Family Fun night in the gym! Come visit the students' art gallery in the cafeteria. There will also be a movie night in the gym. Please plan on staying with your children for the movie. Save the date, more details coming.

Oversees ADA Walk, and the following Liaison chairpersons: Spanish Community, Kindergarten, Legislative, FCPS budget, School Planning, Special Education, Glasgow and Jeb Stuart.

Develops a fundraising program designated to provide the revenue to support the PTA’s operational budget. Oversees administration of all fundraising events, including but not limited to Fall Gift wrap sale, election day bake sale, fall book fair, fundraising dinners, direct donation campaign, spring art, school spirit, grant research and directory advertising.

Oversees all volunteer requests including library volunteer coordinator, health and safety clinic aide, spring book fair and reading mentors as well as general assistance to volunteers needed for PTA run events.

Advertises for PTA membership and follows all Virginia PTA and Fairfax County PTA regulations with respect to providing membership dues and forms.
