Two of the school building. Also, when picking up children after dismissal, please refrain from parking and leaving your car on Sleepy Hollow Road directly in front of the school, as it blocks Kiss and Ride traffic. Thank you for your cooperation!
March 2nd the SHES PTA will host a Family Fun night in the gym! Come visit the students' art gallery in the cafeteria. There will also be a movie night in the gym. Please plan on staying with your children for the movie. Save the date, more details coming.
Auction
SHES PTA Auction
The auction is a fundraiser for the SHES playground which is ending its useful life. The county provides some funding for the playground but not enough to cover the type of equip-ment we currently have. In order for SHES to have the same basic set up, the PTA must fund the difference. That means we need to raise approximately $50k. We are off to a good start with the $14k earned at last year's auction.
We really need another volunteer or two to chair the event. If no one can do it, we will have to cancel it for spring 2012 and possibly have another direct donation fundraiser designated specifically for the playground equipment.
