March Madness is coming to Sleepy Hollow.

 Join the SHES PTA to cheer for your SHES faculty and staff as they compete against the faculty and staff of Beech Tree Elementary.  The event will take place on March 12, 2010 6 pm – 9 pm in the Glasgow Middle School Gym. Proceeds from advance ticket sales sold at SHES will go to the SHES PTA; proceeds from ticket sales at the door and concessions will be split evenly with the Beech Tree ES PTA.  SHES PTA will hold a silent auction in during the game.  All proceeds from the silent auction will go to SHES PTA. This is a great fund raising event for our school! Be sure to come out to support your Sleepy Hollow March Madness Team!

Want to Help with March Madness. Here’s how:

1. Contribute to the concessions by making cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats or similar snacks. Contribution can be dropped off at the SH office on March 11 or 12. 
2. Help out the night of the game. We need people to sell tickets at the door, man the concessions booth, help with the silent auction, help with half time activities, et).  To volunteer contact Terri Lamb - terri.lamb@cox.net or 703-538-6065.
3. Contribute something for the silent auction. Examples of possible donations include:  gift cards to stores or restaurants, a ride on your pontoon boat on the lake, an ice cream party for a child's class, any service that you could provide (Are you a seamstress? Are you a scrapbooker? Are you an artist?), tickets to a sporting event or the theater, a week at your vacation home, a laser tag party, a home-cooked meal, a themed gift basket…The possibilities are endless.
