UPCOMING EVENTS

Sleepy Hollow Elementary School PTA’s fall fundraiser will kick off on Friday, September 11th, 2009. This year we will be working with Great American Opportunities to offer a wide selection of products including seasonal gifts, delicious edibles, gift wrap, jewelry, magazines, and much, much more. The fall fundraiser is our PTA’s major source of funding. Proceeds from the sale directly benefit the students at SHES by funding field trips, cultural art assemblies, family fun nights, class parties, and more.

The students will receive their sales kits on Friday, September 11th and they will be due back to the school on Monday, September 28th. Students, family members, friends, neighbors, etc. may also place orders online at any time during the sale by visiting the website gafundraising.com , clicking on “Support your school 24/7/365”, entering School ID: 1395151, and entering the student’s name. Orders will be available for pick up in the SHES cafeteria from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, October 21st. BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT! On September 21st, the school will host Back to School Night for grades K-5 beginning at 7pm! Note that this is a new date for the K-2nd graders.  Come to the school and hear your child’s teacher talk about their curriculum, see the classroom and school and meet your child’s teacher and other parents.  This event is intended for parents and/or guardians only, so please make child care arrangements!
