Please remember to pull up to the Kiss and Ride sign when dropping off your children in the morning. The official drop off is NOT at Door
Two of the school building. Also, when picking up children after dismissal, please refrain from parking and leaving your car on Sleepy Hollow Road directly in front of the school, as it blocks Kiss and Ride traffic. Thank you for your cooperation!
March 2nd the SHES PTA will host a Family Fun night in the gym! Come visit the students' art gallery in the cafeteria. There will also be a movie night in the gym. Please plan on staying with your children for the movie. Save the date, more details coming.
Budget info for FY2013
The Superintendent announced his proposed FY2013 Budget on Jan. 12, starting a budget process that ends in May.
The School Board will hold public hearings on the budget on Jan. 30 and 31. Those wanting to speak may start signing up on Jan. 13 by going to: http://www.fcps.edu/schlbd/meetings/requestspeak.shtml
The School Board will hold a budget work session on Feb. 2, when Board members will discuss amendments they would like to make to the Superintendent’s plan. On Feb. 9, the Board will approve an Advertised budget to send to the Board of Supervisors. After the Board of Supervisors determines in April how much the country transfer to FCPS will be, the Board will approve a final budget in May.
